It saves around 5% to 15% in total Zinc Consumption depending upon the silicon content of Steel. It prevent excessive coating of Zinc on steel and also control growth of Fe layer on Steel. It also helps in reducing grey coating on Galvanized steel and provides smooth finishing.

It is the easiest form of Nickel & Bismuth to add and dissolve in molten Zinc. Nickel Bismuth Tablets increases fluidity in Zinc bath which helps to form a uniform and thin coating on steel. It has low melting point and is denser than Zinc. Bismuth is an environmental friendly metal and is also used as an alternative to lead.
